Trackman O-2000 $97.95 (3Rail) $108.95 (2Rail) We now use MTH cast metal trucks The articulated design was incorporated into the unit to keep the cleaning block centered between the rails and not have it overhang on the curved sections. The cleaning pads are called Bear-Tex. and is a woven fiber polishing pad that will not tear or fray in use. The unit construction is all-metal except for the adjusting wheel, the pad, plugs and the trucks. The approximate weight for each unit is two pounds. The paint color is caution yellow. The cleaner can be pulled or pushed around the layout, either by a single engine or it can be coupled to the rear of a consist. There is no need to move cars to a siding to clean your track. Pads are user replaceable and can be purchased through our company. For indoor use, the pads should last considerably longer. We only went through one set of pads in one season of running weekends from mid-April through mid-October outdoors. This involved cleaning over 400 feet of track.		I am pleased that the Trackkman 2000 is doing a superb job. My friend was so impress that he ordered one today for him self. While using it on his layout you could see the difference after only ten laps around the mains. With the electronics in the newer engines the slights dirt will cause them to drop to neutral, especially on switches. I am not sure which switches he has Ross or Curtis, but the Trackman did not hang up on them. We still have several hours of track cleaning to get all the track done, but this is by far the easiest cleaning. I also tried it on a small piece of test track just pushing the unit around by hand and could watch the rails become shiny in just a few times back and forth. Thank you for a great product. John C. The Trackman O-2000 is a scaled down model of the large-scale unit and was built at the request of my brother, who has a large O gauge layout in his basement. He had tried other cleaners using liquid, but liked the way the large-scale model performed on my outdoor layout without using a liquid solvent. One was built. Actually, two units of different design were tested and the better of the two was used in the final production.
